Sales Representative
Job Summary
Location: South Korea (Nationwide), with approximately 70% coverage in Seoul and the Gyeonggi area
Business: ImmunoDiagnostics, Specialty Diagnostics
Target Customers: Primary and secondary healthcare institutions, including hospitals and clinics
Sales Model: Channel/distributor-based sales with direct customer engagement
DESCRIPTION:
Join our team at Thermo Fisher Scientific as a Sales Development Representative III, where you'll drive growth in allergy and autoimmunity diagnostics. In this role, you'll promote Phadia's immunodiagnostic testing solutions to clinical laboratories and healthcare providers, contributing to better patient outcomes while advancing your career with a global leader in serving science.
You'll support equipment sales for distributors and manage relationships with primary and secondary healthcare institutions. Your focus will be on identifying and creating new accounts for equipment installation, prospecting for new leads, and qualifying opportunities within the allergy and autoimmunity diagnostic space. You'll engage with potential clients to understand their testing needs and demonstrate how our diagnostic solutions can enhance their laboratory capabilities. Working closely with Business Development Executives and Account Executives, you'll coordinate customer communications, manage the sales pipeline through our CRM system, and deliver effective presentations to achieve revenue targets.
REQUIREMENTS:
• Bachelor’s degree or above in Sciences, Biology, Chemistry, Engineering, or a related field preferred.
• Preferred Fields of Study: Life Sciences, Biology, Chemistry, Engineering or related scientific field
• Valid driver's license
• Demonstrated success in achieving sales targets and growing customer relationships
• Strong technical aptitude and ability to understand complex scientific products/applications
• Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills
• Proficiency in CRM systems, particularly Salesforce.com
• Advanced analytical and strategic planning capabilities
• Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively in a matrix organization
• Strong project management and organizational skills
• Willingness to travel up to 50% of time as required
• Intermediate level in English required; additional language skills valued
• Demonstrated experience in pipeline development and lead generation
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)
• Experience with digital marketing tools and platforms preferred
• Ability to analyze market trends and provide competitive intelligence
