The Apple Pay and Wallet team is looking for a Business Development Manager with experience in digital identity to join us in the journey of replacing the Wallet. You will work closely with product, engineering, business operations, and others internal teams, as well as external partners, to bring great experiences to life.

Description

We are looking for an individual with a strong background in developing collaborative and impactful relationships with a diverse portfolio of partners relevant to delivering digital identity solutions in Apple Wallet.

Minimum Qualifications

Education: Bachelor’s degree
5+ years in technology business development experience in managing complex partner relationships, with senior stakeholders, ideally involving the public sector
Contract negotiation experience, ideally involving the public sector
Demonstrated strong communication interpersonal, teamwork/collaboration, and organizational skills
Working knowledge of the digital identity ecosystem, relevant to Apple’s first party payment products

Preferred Qualifications

8+ years experience in managing complex partner relationships, ideally involving the public sector facing technology implementations
5+ years experience in digital identity
Significant contract management experience, acting as the business lead and dealing with complicated negotiations
Experience driving scale through partnerships
Knowledge of identity verification and assurance levels
Proficiency with Apple products and applications
English and French proficiency a plus

Pay & Benefits — New York City, New York, United States

At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $119,700 and $225,600, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.

Apple employees also have the opportunity to become an Apple shareholder through participation in Apple’s discretionary employee stock programs. Apple employees are eligible for discretionary restricted stock unit awards, and can purchase Apple stock at a discount if voluntarily participating in Apple’s Employee Stock Purchase Plan.
