Overview

The Director of Windows Monetization Strategy leads the team responsible for shaping how Microsoft creates value from Windows, one of the world's most iconic and widely used technology platforms. This role sits at the center of a multi-billion dollar business spanning Commercial, Consumer, Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM), and Internet of Things (IoT) segments, with responsibility for defining the monetization strategy and business models that will power Windows' next phase of growth.

As a key strategic leader, you will help answer some of the company's most important questions: How should Windows evolve in the age of AI? Where are the next growth opportunities? How should we package, price, and monetize new capabilities to create value for customers and Microsoft? You will bring together customer insights, market trends, product strategy, and financial analysis to influence decisions at the highest levels of the company.

This role calls for  both strategic vision and exceptional leadership. You will lead a high-performing team while partnering closely with Engineering, Product Marketing, Finance, Sales, Operations, and Legal leaders across Microsoft to turn ideas into business outcomes. This is a unique opportunity to shape the future of Windows, drive industry-defining business model innovation, and have a direct impact on one of Microsoft's most important franchises.

Few roles offer the opportunity to influence the future direction of a platform used by billions of people, shape Microsoft's AI-era growth strategy, and drive monetization decisions that impact one of the company's largest businesses
