Purpose Of Role:

The Senior Transfer Agency Analyst is responsible for the correct and timely processing of specific activities performed in the areas of Fund Trading Services such as cash and shares reconciliation, reporting, orders management, dividends payment etc.

The role will involve a significant amount of contacts with internal and external clients, Transfer Agents and other groups within State Street. 

The Senior Analyst is a point of contact for all other supporting functions and is responsible for analyzing information, monitoring and resolving queries received from internal and external parties.

The Senior Analyst is responsible for verifying and reviewing the work performed by the junior colleagues and as an experienced employee, is expected to provide on job training to the newer members of the team and guidance to the junior ones. 

  

Responsibilities

  • Demonstrating timely and accurate processing at all times in accordance with Fund deadlines, operating procedures and legal regulations.

  • Engaging in building an effective working relationship with internal and external clients.

  • Involvement in the training and development of other team members.

  • Preparation of various weekly and monthly reports for management review. Compiling and categorizing data used for monthly operational metrics.

  • Making recommendations for changes to processes and procedures and preparing documentation for review as required.

  • Reviewing the activities of junior Analysts and completing checklists.

  • Liaising with internal parties and supporting departments to obtain key inputs to service delivery, resolving errors and discrepancies.

  • Taking leading role with Team Manager in liaising with other sites on all aspects of the service.

  • Assuring that departmental procedures and controls are adhered to.

  • Assisting Team Manager in implementing new procedures and controls.

  • Performing special projects and other tasks as assigned by the Team Manager.

  • Undertaking appropriate housekeeping duties e.g. filing, archiving, carrying out a clean desk policy.

  • Taking responsibility for personal development and training.

PERSON SPECIFICATION

Specific Qualifications / Skills:

  • Numeracy / Literacy skills.

  • Accuracy and ability to work within tight deadlines.

  • PC literate and competent in use of MS Excel spreadsheets, MS Word and MS Outlook.

  • Understanding of fund administration.

  • Communication skills - verbal and written in English and Italian.

  • Ability to learn quickly and work in a team environment

  • Quick in thinking, reflection & execution

  • A thorough understanding of fund services is required

Level Of Education:

Accountancy or Business related  degree (preferred)

Previous Level Of Experience:

1+ years of recent experience in banking / financial industry or in a similar role is required

2. All issues with which Employee turns to the one level up Manager should have been discussed with his direct Superior.

3.  Employee has the right to appeal from every decision of his direct Superior to the one level up Manager.

Note: The role requires a minimum of three days per week working form the office

Minimum Salary:

zł68,004 Annual

The minimum salary quoted above applies to the role in the primary location specified. If the candidate ultimately works outside of this primary location, the applicable minimum salary may differ.​

Salary will be determined based on factors such as the position, type of work performed, individual skills, job description, working hours, diligence, initiative, self-management, length of employment, availability, and the quantity and quality of work delivered, as well as other objective and non-discriminatory criteria relevant to State Street employees.​

In addition to salary, employees are eligible to be considered for discretionary annual performance-based awards.​
