Responsible for overseeing the strategy, growth, and overall health of a portfolio of Capital One Ads’ most important agency relationships. This leader will develop and execute comprehensive agency partnership strategies that accelerate revenue growth, deepen executive relationships, identify new opportunities, and expand Capital One Ads’ influence across the advertising ecosystem. This role requires a combination of deep industry expertise, strategic thinking, and strong leadership to guide the team in building differentiated, multi-year partnerships. This person will also serve as a senior voice within the agency community and as a critical connector across internal teams. This leader will maintain a deep understanding of agency business priorities, organizational changes, investment strategies, competitive dynamics, and emerging industry trends, translating those insights into actionable recommendations.
Key Responsibilities Include:
Own the overall strategy, growth, and health of a portfolio of Capital One Ads’ tier one agency relationships.
Develop differentiated partnership strategies based on each agency's business model, organizational structure, investment priorities, client portfolio, and strategic objectives
Identify and develop incremental revenue opportunities beyond the traditional negotiation cycle, translating agency needs and marketplace changes into new opportunities
Build and maintain trusted relationships with senior agency executives across account management, measurement/analytics, marketing, events and executive leadership
Maintain a deep understanding of agency business priorities, organizational changes, investment strategies, competitive dynamics, and emerging industry trends
Orchestrate cross-functional teams across Capital One Ads to address partner needs, remove barriers, and capitalize on opportunities requiring coordination across multiple parts of the organization
Partner closely with Sales leadership to ensure centralized agency strategies translate into client-level opportunities and measurable revenue growth
Collaborate closely with internal teams to establish clear measures of partnership health and business impact and proactively identify opportunities, risks, and areas requiring leadership intervention

Strong strategic, analytical, and data-analysis skills.
Demonstrated experience in strategic client-facing interactions (in-person, phone, email).

The minimum and maximum full-time annual salaries for this role are listed below, by location. Please note that this salary information is solely for candidates hired to perform work within one of these locations, and refers to the amount Capital One is willing to pay at the time of this posting. Salaries for part-time roles will be prorated based upon the agreed upon number of hours to be regularly worked.
Remote (Regardless of Location): $187,300 - $213,700 for Director, Capital One Ad Solutions
Candidates hired to work in other locations will be subject to the pay range associated with that location, and the actual annualized salary amount offered to any candidate at the time of hire will be reflected solely in the candidate’s offer letter.
This role is also eligible to earn performance based incentive compensation, which may include cash bonus(es) and/or long term incentives (LTI).
