Job Description

The Senior Sales Manager, Visa Commercial Solutions (France, Belgium & Luxembourg) will be responsible for driving Visa's commercial business growth across France, Belgium and Luxembourg, with a strong focus on business development, strategic partnerships, and the expansion of Visa's B2B payments ecosystem.

The role will cover both the development of existing issuer relationships and the acquisition of new opportunities across banks, fintechs, ERP platforms, software providers, embedded payment players and other B2B ecosystem participants. The successful candidate will help accelerate the adoption of Visa Commercial Solutions, including Commercial Cards, Virtual Cards, B2B Payments and B2B Acceptance solutions.

This position requires a highly entrepreneurial sales professional with strong business development capabilities, experience navigating complex organizations, and the ability to drive growth across France, Belgium and Luxembourg through collaboration with clients, partners and internal stakeholders.

What we expect of you day to day

  • Lead the execution of Visa Commercial Solutions growth strategy across France, Belgium and Luxembourg, in alignment with cluster and European priorities.

  • Originate, develop and close new business opportunities with financial institutions, fintechs, corporates and ecosystem partners.

  • Drive adoption of Visa Commercial Cards, Virtual Cards and innovative B2B payment solutions across the region.

  • Support the development of Visa's B2B Acceptance strategy by identifying and engaging key acceptance partners, acquirers, ERP providers, software platforms and ecosystem participants.

  • Build and maintain executive-level relationships with issuers, fintechs, strategic partners and key industry stakeholders.

  • Identify emerging market trends, customer needs and new growth opportunities across the B2B payments ecosystem.

  • Partner with Account Executives, Product, Acceptance, Marketing and Business Development teams to deliver integrated client strategies and accelerate revenue growth.

  • Develop and manage a robust sales pipeline, ensuring accurate forecasting and disciplined opportunity management.

  • Represent Visa Commercial Solutions at customer meetings, industry events, conferences and internal leadership forums.

  • Act as a subject matter expert on Commercial Payments, B2B Payments and B2B Acceptance opportunities across the FBL cluster.

  • Educate and support internal teams on Commercial Solutions products, market trends and growth opportunities.

This is a hybrid position. Expectation of days in the office will be confirmed by your Hiring Manager. 

Qualifications

What we are looking for

  • Proven experience in B2B sales, business development or partnership management, ideally within payments, financial services or fintech environments, with a track record of originating and closing complex opportunities.

  • Strong commercial DNA with a proactive approach to pipeline generation, strategic account development and revenue growth.

  • Solid understanding of the payments ecosystem, including financial institutions, fintechs, acceptance players and emerging B2B payment trends.

  • Experience in Commercial Cards, Virtual Cards, Payables solutions, Working Capital solutions and/or B2B Payments is highly desirable.

  • Demonstrated ability to build strategic relationships and influence senior stakeholders internally and externally.

  • Strong commercial acumen, sales discipline and pipeline management capabilities.

  • Entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to identify, shape and execute new growth opportunities.

  • Fluent in French and English, with the ability to engage and influence senior stakeholders across international environments.

  • Excellent relationship-building, communication and presentation skills.

  • Ability to influence and collaborate across cross-functional and international teams.

  • Autonomous, proactive and results-driven mindset.

  • Degree-level education or equivalent professional experience.

  • Willingness to travel regularly across France, Belgium and Luxembourg and occasionally within Europe (London)
