- Lead the design, planning, and execution of on-prem to cloud data migrations, post-merger data integrations, and on-prem data solutions with a focus on scalability, resilience, and regulatory compliance.
- Work hands-on with Python, SQL, and Spark using modern Data & AI platforms (Databricks, Fabric, Snowflake) to automate and optimize complex data workflows.
- Integrate diverse data sources into unified, high-quality datasets supporting advanced analytics and AI solutions.
- Collaborate closely with data architects, analysts, and data scientists to ensure seamless delivery of business-ready insights and value.
HERE’S WHAT YOU’LL NEED:
Experience Requirements (Cumulative):
- Minimum 5+ years of relevant professional experience in data engineering, AI, or analytics roles.
- Within this experience, at least 2 years of experience in leadership roles
- Proven ability to design, scope, and deliver complex data and AI projects, including Proofs of Concept (PoC) and Proofs of Value (PoV).
- Experience in managing multi-disciplinary Data & AI teams, programs, or product-oriented deliveries.
- Experience in cloud migration projects or hybrid cloud architectures highly appreciated.
Technical Skills:
- Deep understanding of modern cloud and AI platforms (Azure, GCP, AWS, OCI, Databricks, Microsoft Fabric, Snowflake).
- Strong knowledge of on-premises data environments (at least two of: Oracle, MS SQL Server, Teradata, DB2).
- Practical expertise in modern data architecture, including:
- Medallion architecture, OneLake, and data warehouse concepts
- Data lineage, orchestration, and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes)
- Event-driven processing (Kafka)
- Hands-on experience in designing and developing ETL/ELT pipelines (preferred: Azure Fabric, Databricks, Synapse, dbt; also valued: SAS, ODI, Informatica, DataStage, or equivalent).
- Strong background in data modelling (relational, dimensional, or Data Vault).
- Proficiency in SQL and procedural languages (T-SQL, PL/SQL or equivalent).
- Strong coding experience in Python and PySpark with clear, structured coding practices.
- Familiarity with DevOps, CI/CD, and version control (Git, Bitbucket).
- Good understanding of LLM (Large Language Models) concepts, with the ability to apply AI techniques in Data & AI solutions. Experience in building LLM-powered applications is a plus.
Soft Skills & Language:
- Practical experience in at least one of the following industries: Banking, Insurance, Retail, Consumer Goods & Services or Telecommunications/Media, enabling you to translate business needs into data-driven solutions.
- Strong analytical thinking, problem-solving and attention to detail.
- Excellent organization and coordination skills — both personal and team-wide.
- Professional working proficiency in English; another European language (preferably German) is a plus.
- Willingness to travel to client locations across Europe as required.

- Location: Our headquarters is in Warsaw, with an additional office in Kraków.
