Your Job 

  • Contribute to real client challenges and help translate business needs into secure, resilient and pragmatic solutions. 

  • Work alongside multidisciplinary teams to analyse security issues, shape recommendations and support the design or implementation of solutions. 

  • Build hands-on experience through research, threat modelling, assessments, workshops, prototypes or client-ready deliverables, depending on your assignment. 

  • Discover the breadth of cybersecurity—from securing digital foundations and shaping strategy to building trusted identities and defending organisations against evolving threats. 

The types of projects you could work on 

Your assignment will depend on your interests, skills and the opportunities within the team. You could contribute to projects such as: 

  • Helping secure cloud platforms, applications and digital workplaces by assessing risks and recommending practical controls. 

  • Supporting a cybersecurity strategy, risk assessment, regulatory readiness initiative or security transformation roadmap. 

  • Improving how organisations manage identities, access rights and privileged accounts for employees, customers and partners. 

  • Assessing vulnerabilities, strengthening cyber defence or helping organisations prepare for, respond to and recover from incidents. 

  • Researching an emerging security topic, including AI where relevant, and translating your findings into a client-ready recommendation or prototype.

Your background 

  • You are curious about cybersecurity, digital transformation and emerging technologies, and how they can enable business responsibly. 

  • You enjoy solving problems, asking thoughtful questions and turning analysis into clear recommendations. 

  • You are eager to learn new methodologies, processes and technologies; prior security expertise is welcome but not required. 

  • You collaborate well in diverse teams and communicate with clarity and confidence. 

  • You are fluent in English and Dutch or French, with a working knowledge of the other national language. 

  • You are completing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in any field and expect to graduate in 2027. 

  • You are available for a 12–15 week internship. Most internships take place during the second semester of the academic year, but other periods can be discussed.
