Platform Engineer (Full-stack)

You'll join a global engineering team building intelligent cloud engineering platforms for the life cycle management of SAP HANA Cloud. Our team combines full-stack software engineering, cloud infrastructure engineering, and AI to deliver next-generation engineering services.

What you'll do

• You'll design, build, and operate platform capabilities supporting software delivery, release engineering, and intelligent cloud operations for SAP HANA Cloud.
• You'll develop end-to-end solutions spanning microservices, APIs, modern web applications, deployment pipelines, and cloud platform integrations.
• You'll also build AI-powered platform capabilities by integrating LLMs and other AI technologies into engineering workflows, enabling intelligent software analysis, release decision support, and operational automation across HANA Cloud environments.
• You'll collaborate with software engineers, platform engineers, and AI practitioners to turn emerging AI capabilities into reliable production-grade platform features.

Requirements

• BS/MS in Computer Science or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
• 3+ years of software engineering experience with full-stack web development.
• Proficiency in one or more modern programming languages such as Java, TypeScript (incl. JavaScript) or Python, and experience building data-driven web applications or dashboards.
• Experience with relational databases.
• Understanding of CI/CD pipelines.
• Familiarity with AI Coding Agents (e.g. Claude Code, Codex CLI, Gemini CLI).
• Ability to collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders.
• Fluent written and verbal communication skills in English.

Preferred qualifications

• Experience with Vue.js, including at least one production-grade application.
• Experience with Kubernetes and its ecosystem.
• Experience developing, fine-tuning, or evaluating AI models for domain-specific applications
• Experience with MLOps.
• Proficiency in statistical modeling, and experience building models for anomaly detection or predictive analytics in complex systems.
