Role: Finance Intern in Customs Team - 12-month Career Starter Program

Location: Warsaw

Hybrid model: working 3 days per week from the office, 2 days remote

The team is part of a global network of experts with a regional focus, supporting Direct and Indirect Tax Compliance, Transfer Pricing, and Customs processes. In this role, you will quickly gain experience in tax compliance and operations while supporting the Customs team. We are looking for an enthusiastic individual with strong accounting skills, a commercial mindset, and a keen interest in learning about AstraZeneca’s business. 

Your core accountabilities will include:

  • Analyze import and customs data using AstraZeneca’s systems and reporting tools.
  • Support import customs clearance activities to help ensure timely and compliant movement of goods.
  • Assist with the preparation and review of customs documentation for import transactions.
  • Help monitor import entries and shipment records to ensure accuracy and completeness.
  • Support the reconciliation of customs and import-related data across systems and reports.
  • Assist with ad hoc requests related to import compliance, customs procedures, and shipment queries.
  • Work with internal stakeholders and external partners to support smooth import operations.
  • Support the Customs team in operational and compliance activities related to imports.

The internship will last 12 months.

Please remember that we work in a hybrid scheme, be prepared to work partially office based (minimum 3 days per week).
