Summary:
As a Database Administrator, a typical day involves designing, implementing, and maintaining robust database systems to support organizational needs. This role includes installing database management systems and developing efficient procedures to ensure smooth daily operations. The position requires continuous monitoring and troubleshooting to resolve any issues promptly, ensuring data integrity and availability. Collaboration with various teams to align database solutions with business requirements is also a key aspect of the daily routine, fostering a reliable and optimized data environment.

Roles & Responsibilities:
- Expected to perform independently and become an SME.
- Required active participation/contribution in team discussions.
- Contribute in providing solutions to work related problems.
- Monitor database performance and implement changes to improve efficiency and reliability.
- Ensure data security and compliance with organizational policies and standards.
- Maintain documentation related to database configurations, procedures, and troubleshooting steps.
- Assist junior team members by providing guidance and support in database-related tasks.

Professional & Technical Skills:
- Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Databricks Unified Data Analytics Platform.
- Experience with database installation, configuration, and maintenance.
- Strong understanding of data backup, recovery, and disaster recovery techniques.
- Ability to optimize database performance through tuning and query optimization.
- Familiarity with scripting and automation to streamline database management tasks.
- Knowledge of data security best practices and compliance requirements.

Additional Information:
- The candidate should have minimum 2 years of experience in Databricks Unified Data Analytics Platform.
- This position is based at our HDC4 - SEZ office.
- A 15 years full time education is required.
