About this role

Reporting to the India Head of Enterprise Services, the Mumbai Site Lead owns the strategy, performance, and continuous improvement of the workplace experience across the location. The role translates enterprise, regional, and local priorities into high-value outcomes for employees and business stakeholders while maintaining clear accountability for service delivery, people, budget, vendors, risk, projects, and sustainability. The Site Lead also anticipates emerging needs, builds evidence-based business cases, and influences decisions that strengthen operational resilience and workplace effectiveness.

Key Responsibilities

  • Workplace Strategy and Experience: Set and execute the Mumbai workplace strategy, aligning business requirements with global, regional, and local standards to deliver a safe, inclusive, efficient, and differentiated employee experience.

  • Enterprise Partnership and Influence: Partner with business leaders and functional teams to prioritize needs, resolve issues at the right level, and influence timely decisions in a complex matrix organization.

  • Team Leadership and Capability: Build and lead an inclusive, high-performing One BlackRock team comprising employees and outsourced partners, with clear goals, strong succession, disciplined performance management, and continuous capability development.

  • Financial, Risk, and Compliance Ownership: Own annual planning, budget performance, forecasting, controls, and mitigation of operational, financial, regulatory, health and safety, business continuity, security, and reputational risks.

  • Vendor and Commercial Performance: Govern strategic supplier relationships, contracts, scopes of work, service levels, key performance indicators, and business reviews to deliver quality, value, innovation, and timely remediation.

  • Projects and Change Delivery: Sponsor and oversee local projects with the India Hub Lead and regional and global functions, ensuring robust governance, stakeholder readiness, delivery to scope, schedule, budget, and intended benefits.

  • Sustainability and Continuous Improvement: Reduce the site’s environmental impact, advance enterprise sustainability commitments, and use data, feedback, and external insight to identify scalable improvements and build compelling business cases.
