Job Description: 

The Role and Impact


As a Module Engineering PhD Intern, you will actively contribute to the development and implementation of manufacturing processes within a specific module in semiconductor manufacturing. Your day-to-day activities will include supporting equipment troubleshooting, maintenance, and qualification, while exploring process optimization opportunities to ensure production targets are met. This hands-on internship will provide you with invaluable experience and help you build skills in a collaborative and growth-oriented environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in developing and refining manufacturing processes for semiconductor modules.

  • Support equipment troubleshooting, maintenance, and qualification activities to ensure optimal performance.

  • Collaborate with engineering teams to optimize process control methodologies and enhance production efficiency.

  • Work on projects that address real-world manufacturing challenges, applying your technical knowledge and research skills.

Qualifications:

Minimum Qualifications

  • Actively pursuing Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) Degree in Physics, Material Science, Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.

  • Demonstrated skills through academic research, coursework, or hands-on training in areas such as semiconductor processing, manufacturing equipment, or advanced materials.

  • Familiarity with process control techniques and methodologies.

  • Technical proficiency in analyzing data and identifying process optimization opportunities.


Preferred Qualifications

  • Hands-on experience using and maintaining scientific equipment, research experience, experimental and data analysis expertise.

  • Semiconductor device research, development or characterization experience

Annual Salary Range for jobs which could be performed in the US: $120,898.00-120,902.00 USD
