The Cloud & AI Platform marketing team is responsible for shaping how Microsoft engages customers across some of the company's most important growth priorities. The team brings together customer insights, market trends, product strategy, and go-to-market execution to create connected customer experiences that help organizations understand, adopt, and realize value from Microsoft's Cloud and AI solutions.
Working across product marketing, integrated marketing, Microsoft Customer and Partner Solutions (MCAPS), partner marketing, skilling, and events, the team develops customer-centered strategies that align business priorities with customer needs. Through close collaboration across engineering, field, and marketing organizations, the team drives clarity, consistency, and impact across the customer journey, helping customers navigate digital transformation with confidence while supporting business growth.
This is a leadership role at the center of Microsoft’s Cloud & AI Platform growth strategy. The Conversation Leader will set the direction for two priority customer conversations: Unified Data & AI Platform and Modernize with Confidence. The role connects customer needs, market signals, product strategy, field priorities, partner opportunities, and marketing execution into a clear strategy that helps customers move from intent to action. You will lead through influence to define the narrative and priorities, shape the customer journey and content strategy, establish the operating rhythm, and use performance insights to continuously refine priorities and investments.

Responsibilities
- Own the end-to-end conversation strategy and marketing plan for Unified Data & AI Platform and Modernize with Confidence.
- Define and evolve conversation priorities based on customer needs, market opportunities, competitive dynamics, and insights from the field and partner ecosystem.
- Align marketing strategy, audiences, calls to action, and investment priorities across MCAPS, product marketing, integrated marketing, and partner stakeholders.
- Establish the customer narrative that supports the customer journey and enables consistent engagement across marketing channels and experiences.
- Oversee the development, governance, and effectiveness of core customer-facing content, including playbooks, discussion guides, demos, customer evidence, digital experiences, event content, and sales enablement resources.
- Lead cross-functional business reviews and operating rhythms to align stakeholders, inform decision-making, and strengthen execution.
- Use customer, partner, campaign, and content insights to identify opportunities, address gaps, and optimize marketing impact.
- Champion customer-centric marketing by influencing messaging, customer evidence, skilling priorities, and engagement strategies across the customer journey.
- Shape the strategy and customer experience for major Microsoft programs and events, including MCAPS Start, Ignite, Build, AI Tour, Frontier Week, and the Discovery Series.
- Lead strategic cross-functional initiatives that advance go-to-market priorities, accelerate growth opportunities, and address emerging business needs.
- Foster a culture of collaboration, executive engagement, and operational excellence across a diverse network of stakeholders and partners.

Qualifications
Required Qualifications
- Master's Degree in Marketing, Computer Science, Business or related field AND 6+ years of experience in business OR Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Computer Science, Business or related field AND 8+ years of experience in business OR equivalent experience
- 6+ years people management experience
Preferred Qualifications
- Demonstrated success shaping and executing go-to-market, solution marketing, product marketing, or business growth strategies within enterprise technology environments.
- Proven ability to use customer insights, market trends, business performance data, and competitive intelligence to inform strategy, prioritize investments, and guide decision-making.
- Track record of leading business planning, portfolio planning, and complex cross-functional initiatives across marketing, sales, product, and partner organizations.
- Knowledge of cloud computing, data platforms, analytics, artificial intelligence, or related enterprise technology solutions.
- Demonstrated success building inclusive team cultures, developing talent, and leading through influence in large, matrixed organizations.
- Demonstrated operational and financial acumen, including budget management, resource planning, investment prioritization, and business performance oversight.
Product Marketing M6 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $155,800 - $277,200 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $202,400 - $303,600 per year.
