Overview

MCAPS-Core accelerates customer outcomes and business growth. By uniting product, engineering, marketing, sales, customer success, and partners around a common customer mission, we help customers realize value faster and turn innovation into measurable business impact. Through deep technical expertise and differentiated go-to-market execution, we win competitively, capture market share, and scale repeatable growth motions. We differentiate through value creation - delivering world-class, AI-powered customer experiences that accelerate adoption, strengthen loyalty, and create sustainable competitive advantage, driving growth that outpaces the market.

The mission of the Services Portfolio and Delivery (SP&D) organization is to unify Microsoft's services portfolio, delivery organizations, workforce planning, operations, and skilling into one connected engine that delivers customer outcomes faster, with greater consistency, scale, and operational excellence. Within SP&D, Success Services Delivery (SSD) accelerates customer outcomes by enabling customers to securely adopt, optimize, and innovate with Microsoft technology through scalable delivery excellence, automation, and trusted partner execution.

We are looking for a Cloud Solution Architect to join the GSCD team. You are responsible for delivering Success Programs directly to government, sovereign, and regulated customers where delivery requires security clearances, citizenship, residency, FTE-only delivery, or sovereign cloud expertise. GSCD CSAs own both customer delivery execution and territory-level leadership for restricted-demand customers within their assigned regions.

Microsoft’s mission is to empower every person and every organization on the planet to achieve more. As employees we come together with a growth mindset, innovate to empower others and collaborate to realize our shared goals. Each day we build on our values of respect, integrity, and accountability to create a culture of inclusion where everyone can thrive at work and beyond.

  • Monitor and report delivery health, including delivery capacity, customer satisfaction (CSAT), and implement corrective actions based on identified risks and performance insights.

  • Represent restricted Success Program delivery in regional forums, business reviews, and stakeholder discussions while partnering with Customer Success Account Managers (CSAMs), Time Zone (TZ) Leads, and business partners.

  • Mentor and enable partner, vendor, local, and global CSAs while promoting knowledge sharing, accountability, collaboration, and consistent delivery practices.

Innovation & IP Contribution

  • Partner with Subject Matter Experts (SMEs), Intellectual Property (IP) Leads, and central teams to pilot new Success Program engagements and provide structured feedback that improves delivery content and methodologies.
