Job Duties: Collaborate with client stakeholders to understand business objectives, customizing Aladdin solutions to meet unique requirements, and supporting clients throughout the onboarding and adoption process. Drive client engagement, scope of work review, requirements collection, and project planning for the data, risk, and analytics workstream of new risk reporting capabilities for client’s business users. Manage data workstream progress and communications with internal and external clients and partners to ensure successful delivery of critical milestones along the project plan. Collaborate with other BlackRock investment, technology, and data professionals to ensure alignment and clarity of data scope, mapping, normalization, and implementation approaches. Educate and guide external users on Aladdin data conventions and target state data management workflows, including on-site training for client data teams. Help enhance Aladdin to ‘speak’ the private credit language by participating in product development work designed to support investment professionals investing in private credit investments. Work with front-office and investment professionals to configure investment portfolio structure, benchmark assignments, and establish proper risk analytics deliverables. Manage systematic data reconciliation and reviews; drive resolution of issues with external and internal data owners, external vendors, and develop solutions with clients and partners. Partner with Analytics Stewards to ensure valuation and risk analytics results are comprehensive and up to market and modeling standard. Create dedicated client documentation with standard templates. Support division-wide transformation initiatives to streamline and automate work.
Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration or a related field and five (5) years of experience in the job offered or as an Associate or a related role. Must have five (5) years of experience with: SQL for data querying and transformation; Python for automation and analytics; Unix and Linux command line proficiency for system operations; ETL tools to transform and standardize large sets of data including Unix, Perl, Moba Xterm, SFTP and Snowflake; Delivered risk analytics to external clients; Knowledge of securities and financial products including equities, fixed income, derivatives, and private markets; Investment data models and benchmarks including fixed income modeling, derivatives modeling, fund modeling, and custom benchmarks; Expertise throughout product life cycles from design to deployment; Managing large multi-channel and technical implementation projects; and Advising and consulting clients on solutioning for data reporting requests.
Salary: $134,500 – 180,000
