Do you want to be part of AWS Strategic Accounts, the segment responsible for helping our largest, most complex customers achieve their business outcomes? Do you want to go deep and wide within one customer? Do you have breadth and depth of account management experience working with large and complex customers, as well as the sales and technical acumen to drive adoption of cloud services and AI at multiple levels? Can you manage and orchestrate account team resources to drive scale and velocity across customer engagements? Are you an experienced AI "builder", working with IDEs, using AI coding assistants, and understanding how agentic platforms deliver customer value? If so, we want to hear from you.

Key job responsibilities
Strategic Accounts is growing its account management teams in Seattle. Strategic Account Representatives work on behalf of the account team developing new relationships and workloads in business units and lines-of-business. The ideal candidate will possess sales and technical capabilities to advise customers on AWS solutions, grow usage, and maintain relationships. This includes a deep understanding of AI and agentic platforms, and the ability to articulate how AI capabilities translate to business outcomes. You will own the full sales cycle working cross-functionally with the extended team, translating technical concepts into language that resonates with executive decision-makers and knowing when to bring in the right expert at the right moment.

A day in the life
As a Strategic Account Representative, you focus on landing greenfield workloads within specific Lines of Business inside a single Strategic Customer account. Your days will consist of meeting with LOB and BU stakeholders to uncover net-new use cases, then partnering with Solutions Architects, Partner teams, and Product specialists to turn those opportunities into launched workloads. You'll run discovery conversations, build business cases, manage opportunities in Salesforce, and clear blockers that slow adoption. You are the driving force behind new-workload growth on your account.
