About the Team

The Admin Backfill Support team provides essential administrative support to the GCA, GRC, FTV, and Copyright teams. Focused on music publishing and rights management, the team handles international clients and complex data management systems to ensure the accuracy and timely execution of tasks. The team operates in a fast-paced environment, collaborating with global offices to manage data efficiently. • Mission/Vision: To support the efficient management and processing of royalties and client data, ensuring accuracy and timely execution of tasks. • Industry Focus/Unique Value Proposition: We work within the music publishing and rights management industry, dealing with a variety of international clients and complex data management systems. • Team Characteristics: This team is focused on handling a high volume of data entry and maintenance, supporting both internal teams and international offices with detailed, task-oriented work in a collaborative, high-paced environment.

Job Overview

The Admin Backfill Support role is an entry-level temporary position aimed at providing essential support for several teams. The role is vital for maintaining accurate data entry and tracking while supporting ad hoc projects and ensuring smooth operations across various departments. The individual will work under the guidance of team leaders to ensure accurate record-keeping, income posting, and efficient handling of client data.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage data entry and maintenance for international Sony & EMI affiliate client and song data by using TEMPO system.

• Handle client accounts and works creation, ensuring they meet registration requirements.

• Collaborate with the leadership team and international offices to manage registration processes.

• Assist with large-scale projects, including catalog deliveries and amendments.

• Organize and track reports, deliveries, and queries across multiple systems and platforms.

Required Qualifications

• High school degree

• Bilingual, C1 English level

• Proficient in tools like Excel, Outlook, and Word

Preferred Qualifications

• College degree preferred, or equivalent relevant experience

Skills and Competencies

• Analytical & Focused: Strong focus on data management and task completion.

• Detail-Oriented & Organized: Capable of absorbing and applying training materials to maintain accuracy in tasks.

• Familiarity with Office Software: Proficient in tools like Excel, Outlook, and Word.
