ATLAS Strategy & Project Delivery

Translate Medical evidence needs and other business needs into clear ATLAS strategy, use cases, project

plans, deliverables, timelines and KPIs.

Lead projects from requirements gathering and data-source identification through dashboard launch and

continuous improvement.

Insight Report Generation

Identify and assess fit-for-purpose local real-world data sources.

Work with relevant stakeholders to define cohorts, metrics and reporting logic, and generate insight reports

that reflect local clinical practice and support evidence-based decision-making.

Visualisation Dashboard Development & Maintenance

Translate insight reports into impactful analytics and dashboard solutions to support smarter decisions

across the enterprise.

Lead the end-to-end development and maintenance of ATLAS visualisation dashboards, including data

preparation, KPI definition, visualisation design and development, user acceptance testing, deployment,

user feedback and ongoing enhancements.
Stakeholder Engagement & Governance

Collaborate with Medical, IBEX, IT, Data Science, and external partners to build consensus, and ensure

analytics and dashboard solutions are intuitive, actionable and aligned with business needs.

Ensure that data access, dashboard development and use comply with applicable local regulations and

AstraZeneca policies.

Global Collaboration & Implementation

Provide regular updates to the Global ATLAS team on project progress, key decisions, risks, milestones and

KPIs.

Engage local teams to support successful implementation, adoption and continuous improvement of ATLAS

solutions, and share local insights and best practices with the global team.

REQUIREMENTS

Education & Experience

Master’s degree or above in Health/Medical Informatics, Mathematics, Statistics, Epidemiology, Computer

Science, Life Sciences, or a related quantitative field; a doctoral degree is an advantage.

Typically 5+ years of relevant experience in pharmaceutical, biotechnology, healthcare data, digital health,

consulting, CRO, academic or research environment, with demonstrated experience in data analytics,

dashboard development, business intelligence, reporting, or data management.

Technical & Professional Capabilities

Strong experience in data preparation, integration, curation, validation, and TFL/reporting logic checks,

together with a sound understanding of healthcare data structures, coding systems, database operational

definitions, and the limitations of secondary healthcare data.

Hands-on Power BI, Tableau, or similar dashboarding tools. Experience in end-to-end dashboard

development is essential, including data sourcing, transformation, KPI definition, visualisation, testing,

deployment, and maintenance.

A good understanding of local health data regulations, de-identification, and data governance practices is

required. You should also be comfortable translating business or medical needs into practical data strategy,

analytics plans, and dashboard solutions.

Excellent stakeholder leadership, influencing, negotiation, facilitation and conflict-resolution skills across

scientific, technical, legal, procurement and external partner communities.

Ability to work independently in an evolving environment, set priorities, create practical operating models

and deliver through ambiguity without compromising quality or compliance.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills in Chinese and English.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience or familiarity with AI-enabled tools for process improvement, validation, documentation, or

analytics acceleration is preferred.
