In this role, you’re expected to:

The Credit Portfolio Intermediate Analyst is an intermediate-level position responsible for credit risk MIS reports for retail lending business.

Responsibilities:

  • Preparation/Coordination of Risk Reporting/MIS/Regulatory Reporting.

  • Support Data projects of automating risk reports

  • Help acquire customer data for global data initiatives

  • Use Tableau for Data Visualization

  • Create and maintain reports and dashboards to track key performance indicators (KPIs) and identify trends

  • Identifies key risks and material changes, highlights to Risk Managers.

  • Support system implementation and process enhancements

  • Develop and implement data quality checks to ensure accuracy and consistency of data.

  • Continuously identify process improvements and efficiencies to support business unit goals through dissecting issues and making recommendations

  • Maintain compliance with Citibank credit policies/practices, regulatory policies and prepare, update, and ensure approval of all internal policy and procedure changes, keeping proper change and approval logs

  • Establish cross-functional partnerships and networks in order to support the execute cross-functional and business initiatives

  • Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency.

  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

  • Minimum 3-5 years of relevant experience

  • Proven ability to work with large databases

  • Good communication, interpersonal skills and possess certain positive leadership skills/potential (e.g. take ownership, strong risk culture, ability to work independently etc.)

  • Sound knowledge in SAS programming, data mining and MS Word / Excel / Access / Power-Point is a must

  • Experienced in Tableau or Credit Decision Engine is an advantage

  • Ability to apply credit and risk principles toward business goals

  • Demonstrated ability to synthesize, prioritize and drive results with a sense of urgency

  • Proven ability to remain organized in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple projects

  • Proven interpersonal, organizational and analytic skill

  • Strong self-starter, pro-active and team player.

Education:

  • Bachelor or post-graduate degree in Business, Statistics or other related quantitative disciplines
