Job Description:

This job is responsible for reviewing documentation, closing, booking, and funding syndicated lending transactions where Bank of America is the administrative agent, in accordance with the bank's policies and procedures. Key responsibilities include working with internal and external business partners to facilitate successful closings for multiple commercial and corporate lending lines of business.

Line of Business Job Description:

Global Credit Operations: Responsible for the fulfillment, servicing and protection of credit offerings for business banking, Global Wealth & Investment Management (GWIM), commercial and corporate clients as well as leasing and trade products. Syndicated and Corporate Lending Document Administrators manage closings, funding, and booking for syndicated lending transactions where Bank of America is the administrative agent. This role also manages the incoming and outgoing payments required from the Borrower and Lenders and books the new commitment, amendment, or restructure updates in the Loan IQ system of record.  This role works closely with Client Manager, Credit and Portfolio Officers, Agency Management, Internal and External Legal Counsel and many internal operational support units to ensure seamless execution of transactions. 

Responsibilities:

  • Ensures that loan documentation and lien perfection meets bank policies and procedures and that work product is delivered in an accurate and timely manner

  • Reviews the loan approval and loan documents prepared by counsel to ensure consistency and adherence to requirements

  • Completes primary financial booking and initial loan funding

  • Works closely with Client Managers, Credit and Portfolio Officers, agency management, internal and external legal counsel, and many internal operational support units to ensure seamless execution of transactions

Required Qualifications:

  • 2+ years of experience with commercial lending or Loan IQ (system of record)

  • Familiarity with commercial credit or commercial loan terminology

  • Experience with reading, interpreting, and analyzing complex legal documentation such as credit agreements, and amendments

  • Highly organized, proactive, and able to plan, prioritize and manage deliverables

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills; able to target messaging to different audiences

  • Effective problem-solving skills

  • Proficient computer skills, including Windows, Excel, Word, and Outlook

  • Can work independently while balancing early escalation to ensure seamless closing

  • Adapts well to a quickly evolving environment

Desired Qualifications:

  • Syndicated loan experience 

  • Legal, finance, accounting, or mathematical background

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent loan administration experience

Pay range

$30.25 - $44.27 hourly pay, offers to be determined based on experience, education and skill set.
