Summary:
As a Custom Software Engineer, a typical day involves collaborating closely with stakeholders to understand and clarify business needs, translating these into detailed application requirements. The role includes designing tailored software solutions that align with organizational processes and objectives. Throughout the day, the engineer engages in problem-solving activities, ensuring that the applications developed effectively support business operations. Interaction with various teams to gather insights and feedback is a key part of the daily routine, fostering a cohesive approach to software development and implementation.

Roles & Responsibilities:
- Expected to be an SME, collaborate and manage the team to perform.
- Responsible for team decisions.
- Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions.
- Provide solutions to problems for their immediate team and across multiple teams.
- Lead efforts to identify and resolve technical challenges within projects to ensure timely delivery.
- Mentor junior team members by sharing knowledge and guiding their professional growth.
- Coordinate cross-functional communication to align project goals and deliverables effectively.

Professional & Technical Skills:
- Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in OneStream Extensive Finance SmartCPM.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
- Experience in designing and developing custom software applications tailored to finance and corporate performance management.
- Ability to troubleshoot and resolve software issues efficiently while maintaining high-quality standards.
- Excellent communication skills to facilitate collaboration across diverse teams and stakeholders.
- Familiarity with software development lifecycle methodologies and best practices.

Additional Information:
- The candidate should have minimum 7.5 years of experience in OneStream Extensive Finance SmartCPM.
- This position is based at our Pune office.
- A 15 years full time education is required.
