Summary:
As an Application Support Engineer, a typical day involves acting as a software detective by diligently investigating and resolving issues across various components of essential business systems. This role requires a proactive approach to monitoring system performance, identifying anomalies, and ensuring smooth operation of critical applications. The professional collaborates with different teams to understand system behaviors, troubleshoot problems, and implement effective solutions that maintain business continuity and enhance system reliability. Roles & Responsibilities:
- Expected to perform independently and become an SME.
- Required active participation/contribution in team discussions.
- Contribute in providing solutions to work related problems.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather information and provide timely resolutions to system issues.
- Document troubleshooting steps and solutions to build a knowledge base for future reference.
- Assist junior team members by sharing knowledge and providing guidance on technical challenges.
- Continuously monitor system health and proactively identify potential risks to prevent disruptions.

Professional & Technical Skills:
- Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Murex Datamart Reporting.
- Good To Have Skills: Experience with Murex Back Office Workflows.
- Strong analytical skills to diagnose and resolve complex application issues.
- Ability to work with large datasets and generate insightful reports.
- Familiarity with business process workflows and their impact on application performance.
- Effective communication skills to liaise with technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Additional Information:
- The candidate should have minimum 3 years of experience in Murex Datamart Reporting.
- This position is based at our Mumbai office.
- A 15 years full time education is required.
