The AWS Sales Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A) team is looking for a Finance Manager to play a pivotal role in influencing decision-making and planning at the highest levels of AWS Finance. In this role, you will own revenue forecasting and AI service-level financial analysis, partnering with stakeholders across sales and finance organizations to craft frameworks to uncover what is driving business performance. You will leverage financial modeling, AI tools, and communication abilities to create insights that influence planning cycles and inform leadership discussions.
Key job responsibilities
Develop and own AI services revenue forecasting for the Sales organization across planning and guidance cycles.
Deliver financial models and analytical tools that improve the accuracy of revenue planning cycles, applying economic principles to business decisions
Create high-quality reporting deliverables (weekly, bi-weekly, monthly) that provide actionable insights for senior finance leaders across AWS
Build compelling narratives around business performance that explain trends, forecast accuracy, and expectations to executive leadership
Partner with finance teams across multiple geographies and business units to reconcile estimates, identify revenue drivers, and ensure narrative consistency
A day in the life
Your day begins reviewing revenue performance data and preparing leadership updates. You will collaborate with partners across sales and finance organizations to understand customer dynamics and validate recent trends. Throughout the day, you will improve financial models, build analytical tools to modernize reporting capabilities, and create insightful analyses that explain business performance. You will join meetings with senior finance leaders to present your recommendations, and dedicate time to developing new AI capabilities and best practices for revenue reporting and analysis across the team.
About the team
The AWS Sales FP&A team is a central financial planning and analysis function within Amazon Web Services Finance organization. We partner with the AWS sales organization to tell the story of AWS revenue performance from the field and customer point of view. Our team owns revenue reporting, short- and long-term planning, and insights generation. We are actively embracing AI tools to modernize our reporting capabilities and improve the quality of our insights. Our work directly informs how senior AWS and Amazon leadership understands business performance, making this a unique opportunity to gain broad exposure to cloud computing with high visibility while developing your financial expertise.
Basic Qualifications

The base salary range for this position is listed below. Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.
