Key job responsibilities
We are looking for an experienced, self-motivated senior software development engineer who is excited to solve distributed systems and database problems and
proficient in Java, TypeScript, Rust, or similar languages. You will design and deliver new features and integrations that drive Timestream for InfluxDB's high
availability, reliability, and performance guarantees to AWS customers. You will participate in project architecture, design to develop cutting-edge managed
database service capabilities while leading projects with amazing team members.
A day in the life
· Lead the development of cloud-native database
· Design, implement, test, and deploy database services optimized for cloud environments
· Mentor engineers and managers while contributing hands-on technical work
· Drive technical decisions, design tradeoffs, and feature prioritization
· Partner with senior executives to define business targets and resource planning
· Build and scale engineering teams through recruitment and talent development
· Shape technical strategy to deliver innovative solutions for customers

The base salary range for this position is listed below. Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.
