Job Description

What’s it all about? 

This is an exciting opportunity to lead the growth and development of the Client Marketing function for FBL. 

The primary function is to lead and oversee the development and execution of bespoke co-marketing plans with Visa's key clients across Issuers, merchants and acquirers, fintechs and other strategic partners. 

The individual must have an expert understanding of B2C marketing with knowledge of B2B marketing a plus, in order to create added value for Visa and its clients, through the activation of sponsorships, Visa and client data and insights, research and best practise to name but a few. In the first 15 months, he/she will be focused on the co-marketing efforts between Visa and partners in the period preceding and during the Paris 2024 Olympic and Paralympic Games. 

Reporting to the Head of Marketing for FBL, the role will have line management responsibility for a team of at least 3 contributors, and require hands-on management of certain signature clients along with the Sales teams.  

What we expect of you, day to day 

  • Identify and drive opportunities for co-marketing for Visa with our clients and partners (issuing banks, merchants and FinTechs), and lead the teams that execute those plans, while developing and creating close relationships with marketing leads on the client side. 

  • Oversee end-to-end B2B2C marketing approach to activating Visa Sponsorship properties and product launches with clients, understanding the business challenge/ opportunity together with clients and define and support the execution of the solution along with ensuring a robust measurement framework for continuous learning and improvement. 

  • Support Visa’s Business Development efforts such as RFPs, prospecting. B2B marketing is an increased focus for Visa. 

  • Ensure compliance of Client Marketing projects with Visa policies and market regulations 

  • Oversee efficient use of marketing program budget, and of an intricate financing process of campaigns, in line with contractual commitments with clients and partners.   

This is a hybrid position. Expectation of days in the office will be confirmed by your Hiring Manager. 

Qualifications

What we’re after… 
• Someone highly collaborative working with a variety of internal and external partners in cross-functional areas of the business. 
• Someone experienced and confident interacting with senior management and C-suite, as well as being highly effective in matrix organisation 
• Experience with high level of marketing experience with well-known brands (experience in client-facing functions is a plus) 
• Experience in a variety of marketing programs such as client acquisitions/upsell, account activation and usage, loyalty, sponsorship activations 
• Experience in managing teams that execute marketing campaigns and track/analyse results 
• Acumen for pricing of marketing services and budget management 
• Proven ability in coaching and developing high performing teams 
• Meticulous attention to detail, inquisitive and open to learn 
• Strong verbal and written communication skills in ENG as a second language
