Overview

We are seeking a highly collaborative, energetic, and business-oriented finance professional to lead Rhythm of Business (ROB), executive reporting, and performance insights within the GES P&L team as part of GES FP&A team.

GES FP&A supports the Global Enterprise Sales organization by managing both revenue and P&L rhythms across the Americas, EMEA, and Asia.

The successful candidate will bring a proven track record in business partnering, financial reporting, and executive communications, with experience driving planning, forecasting, and performance management processes across complex global organizations. This role is the owner of the GES P&L rhythm of business, delivering executive-ready reporting, dashboards, and insights that enable effective decision-making and drive organizational accountability. Success in this role requires strong analytical and storytelling capabilities, expertise in reporting and data visualization, and the ability to translate complex financial and operational data into clear, concise, and actionable narratives for senior leadership. A growth mindset, intellectual curiosity, operational rigor, and the ability to influence across a broad stakeholder community are essential.

 



Responsibilities

Partnership

  • Build strong partnerships with FD&E, Accenture, CFT Finance, and Finance across regions to deliver clear insights with executive reporting that support strategic decision making.
  • Integrate data from multiple sources into compelling executive narratives, dashboards, and presentations for leadership reviews.
  • Leverage automation, AI, and reporting technologies to improve data accessibility, increase productivity, and enhance decision quality.
  • Serve as a trusted advisor to stakeholders by translating financial and operational data into business insights, risks, opportunities, and recommended actions.

 

Prioritize

  • Own the ROB calendar and executive reporting package, ensuring timely, accurate, and consistent delivery of financial, headcount, and business performance insights.
  • Deliver dashboards, scorecards, and analytics that provide visibility into key business and financial metrics, trends, risks, and opportunities.
  • Coordinate GES Finance headcount and P&L processes, including reporting, forecasting, planning, variance analysis, and performance reviews.
  • Continuously improve reporting processes, tools, and data models to simplify operations, increase scalability, and reduce manual effort.

Protect

  • Ensure the accuracy, integrity, and consistency of financial and headcount reporting through strong governance and operational controls.
  • Maintain compliance with Microsoft financial policies, reporting standards, privacy requirements, and internal control processes.
  • Partner with stakeholders to identify reporting risks, resolve data quality issues, and implement corrective actions.
  • Support audit, compliance, and governance activities by ensuring required documentation, reporting processes, and controls are operating effectively.
  • Drive standardization and best practices across reporting, planning, and analytics processes to improve transparency and accountability.

Qualifications

Required/minimum qualifications

  • Master's Degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, Economics, Data Science or related field AND 2+ years experience in financial analysis, accounting, controllership or finance, or related field OR Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, Economics, Data Science or related field AND 4+ years experience in financial analysis, accounting, controllership or finance, or related field OR equivalent experience.

Additional or preferred qualifications

  • Masters Degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, Economics, Data Science or related field AND 6+ years of post-graduate financial analysis, accounting, controllership, or finance work experience OR Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, Economics, Data Science or related field AND 8+ years of post-graduate financial analysis, accounting, controllership or finance work experience OR equivalent experience.
  • 1+ year(s) experience in multinationals with multi-product/multi-segment finance roles.
  • 1+ year(s) work experience in matrix-based organization.
  • 1+ year(s) work experience in the technology or software industry.

 



Financial Analysis IC4 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $97,600 - $188,400 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $125,000 - $206,400 per year.
