Key job responsibilities
• Leads Culinary insights program, serving as the primary analytics partner by structuring analytical approaches where data sources may be ambiguous, incomplete, or non-standard to generate actionable business recommendations.
• Supports cross-banner ad-hoc analytics across WWGS banners (Amazon Fresh, Whole Foods Market, and others) as business needs arise. This includes Private Brands support where needed.
• Authors white paper–level analytic recommendations that synthesize complex, multi-source analyses into compelling, executive-ready narratives for senior leadership.
• Manages full lifecycle of insights programs, including cross-category insights, ad-hoc analyses, and strategic deep-dives, ensuring timely delivery aligned with business priorities.
• Translates stakeholder business questions into analyses that inform decisions, partnering cross-functionally across the analytics organization (assortment, pricing, promotion, category management, etc.).
• Establishes frameworks and repeatable processes in areas where data, processes, or business questions are not well-defined — particularly within Culinary and Private Brands.
Skills
• Ability to manage complex, cross-functional programs with multiple stakeholders and competing priorities in ambiguous environments.
• Proficiency with ambiguous or incomplete data sets; able to structure analytical approaches that yield actionable insights.
• Experience authoring strategic, executive-level analytical documents (e.g., white papers) that influence senior leadership decisions.
• Expertise with large enterprise databases and data query tools to prepare and analyze data across disparate sources.
• Strong understanding of the grocery retail landscape, customer trends, and retail operations.
• Communicates complex information clearly and concisely; tailors approach to specific situations and audiences, including senior leadership.
• Able to effectively lead meetings, present information, and influence decisions across all levels of the organization.

The base salary range for this position is listed below. Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.
