Summary:
In the role of Custom Software Engineering Lead, a typical day involves overseeing the technical direction and architectural design of custom software solutions. This includes guiding teams through the entire development lifecycle, from initial design concepts to final delivery. The role requires ensuring that development standards are maintained, and that the software solutions are scalable, performant, and aligned with the broader business goals. Collaboration with various stakeholders to align technical efforts with organizational objectives is a key aspect of daily activities, along with continuous evaluation of code quality and system architecture.

- Responsible for team decisions.
- Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions.
- Expected to provide solutions to problems that apply across multiple teams.
- Lead the development and implementation of best practices to enhance software quality and efficiency.
- Mentor and support team members to foster professional growth and technical expertise.
- Coordinate cross-functional efforts to ensure seamless integration of software components.
- Monitor project progress and adjust plans to meet deadlines and business requirements.

Professional & Technical Skills:
- Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in SAP Plant Maintenance (PM).
- Strong knowledge of software architecture principles and design patterns relevant to custom software development.
- Experience in leading software development teams and managing technical projects.
- Ability to evaluate and improve code quality, scalability, and system performance.
- Familiarity with software development lifecycle methodologies and tools.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with a focus on delivering practical and scalable solutions.

Additional Information:
- The candidate should have minimum 7 years of experience in SAP Plant Maintenance (PM).
- This position is based at our HDC4 - SEZ location.
- A 15 years full time education is required.
