Summary:
As a Custom Software Engineer, a typical day involves leading the design, development, and configuration of software applications. This role requires taking ownership of the project s technical direction and serving as the main liaison for all application-related activities. The position demands coordinating with various stakeholders to ensure seamless integration and functionality, while continuously overseeing the progress and quality of the software solutions being developed. The engineer actively drives the project forward by managing priorities and addressing challenges that arise during the software lifecycle.

Roles & Responsibilities:
- Expected to be an SME, collaborate and manage the team to perform.
- Responsible for team decisions.
- Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions.
- Provide solutions to problems for their immediate team and across multiple teams.
- Lead the planning and execution of application development tasks to meet project goals.
- Facilitate effective communication and knowledge sharing within and across teams to enhance collaboration.
- Mentor junior team members to support their professional growth and improve team capabilities.

Professional & Technical Skills:
- Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Apache Kafka, Apache Administration.
- Strong knowledge of distributed messaging systems and event streaming platforms.
- Experience in configuring and managing Apache Kafka clusters for high availability and scalability.
- Ability to troubleshoot and optimize Kafka performance in complex environments.
- Familiarity with integration of Kafka with various data processing and storage systems.
- Understanding of security best practices related to Kafka deployment and administration.

Additional Information:
- The candidate should have minimum 8 years of experience in Apache Kafka.
- This position is based at our KDC1A - SEZ location.
- A 15 years full time education is required.
