Purpose of the Role

The Supply Chain Manager is responsible for leading end-to-end supply chain operations to ensure high customer satisfaction through on-time delivery, product completeness, and quality. This role drives planning, logistics, inventory management, and continuous improvement while aligning cross-functional stakeholders and supporting business growth in a dynamic, international environment.

Key Responsibilities

Supply Chain Operations & Planning

  • Manage customer demand planning with a strong focus on on-time delivery, product completeness, and quality performance.
  • Oversee material supply, inventory management, production planning, and export activities.
  • Manage logistics across all product life-cycle stages, from product introduction through to product phase-out.
  • Ensure supply chain flexibility and responsiveness to changing business conditions and market trends.
  • Maintain logistics data and system structures in ERP, CRM, and other operational systems.
  • Drive innovation in supply chain, planning, and inventory management processes.

Leadership & People Management

  • Lead and manage the supply chain organization, including first-line managers and their teams.
  • Build a high-performing, flexible team capable of addressing both operational and strategic challenges.
  • Develop team members through goal setting, coaching, and career development planning, including succession and critical skills management.
  • Foster a culture of pride, ownership, collaboration, and engagement that supports the employer brand.

Continuous Improvement & Projects

  • Drive the PPI (Practical Process Improvement) Business System in daily operations and lead continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Implement and embed the 4i culture across all areas of responsibility.
  • Lead cross-functional projects to improve efficiency, scalability, and supply chain performance.

Stakeholder Management & Collaboration

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, suppliers, and key internal stakeholders.
  • Ensure alignment across cross-functional teams, including Operations, R&D, Sales, Service, Business Units, Marketing, and external partners.
  • Actively leverage customer feedback to improve service levels and strengthen the department’s reputation.
  • Promote open, transparent, and effective communication across all levels of the organization.

Financial & Resource Management

  • Manage the departmental budget, ensuring effective cost control and resource allocation.
  • Plan and optimize resources, including headcount, workforce flexibility, and capacity.

Compliance, Quality & Governance

  • Ensure compliance with IMS standards, including regulatory, safety, quality, and environmental requirements, and drive continuous improvement.
  • Execute all activities in accordance with Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) directives, policies, and procedures.

Requirements

Education & Experience

  • University degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business, or a related field.
  • Proven track record in supply chain or logistics management, preferably in a complex, international environment.
  • Strong knowledge of ERP systems and supply chain processes.
  • Experience in managing budgets and implementing cost optimization initiatives.
  • Professional certifications in Supply Chain or Logistics Management welcomed (APICS, CSCMP).
