The team includes professionals with backgrounds in public relations, journalism, social media, writing and Buzz Marketing. We’re looking for trailblazing, collaborative professionals from a variety of creative fields. If that’s you, then your next home may be here. Come and do the best and most exciting work of your career at Apple.

We are seeking a Senior Manager, Worldwide Buzz Marketing — Design and Culture to lead Apple’s global cultural strategy and relationship development across design, architecture, art, fashion, photography and the broader creative community.

Description

This is a senior role for someone with exceptional taste, deep cultural fluency and a highly credible global network. The ideal candidate understands both the established institutions and emerging voices shaping contemporary culture — and can translate that understanding into meaningful relationships, original programs and culturally resonant opportunities for Apple. This role will report to the Head of Worldwide Buzz Marketing.

Responsibilities

Partner with Communications leaders and cross-functional teams to develop and execute integrated strategies that strengthen Apple’s presence and relevance across design and culture.
Build and maintain meaningful, long-term relationships with leading and emerging voices across design, architecture, fashion, art, photography, and the broader creative community.
Identify the individuals, institutions, movements, and cultural moments where Apple can participate authentically and make a meaningful contribution.
Develop a deep understanding of the global design and cultural landscape, identifying emerging talent, creative communities, and shifts in culture before they reach the mainstream.
Conceive and execute distinctive cultural programs, collaborations, experiences, and storytelling opportunities that connect Apple with the creative community in unexpected and meaningful ways.
Champion emerging creative talent, developing programs and relationships that give new voices meaningful platforms and deepen Apple’s connection to the next generation of cultural leaders.
Cultivate relationships with influential cultural institutions, festivals, fairs, galleries, studios, and creative organizations, identifying opportunities for long-term collaboration.
Work closely with creative partners to develop ideas that feel authentic to their practice while reflecting Apple’s values, design philosophy, and commitment to creativity.
Connect global strategy with local cultural insight, partnering closely with regional teams to identify opportunities that are locally resonant and globally meaningful.
Serve as a trusted internal voice on design and culture, bringing strong creative judgment, cultural intelligence, and a clear point of view to cross-functional conversations.
Produce regular strategic updates and cultural intelligence for senior stakeholders, ensuring visibility, alignment, and shared understanding of priorities and opportunities.
Lead multiple complex initiatives simultaneously, delivering work that is creatively ambitious, culturally credible, strategically rigorous, and executed to Apple’s standards.
Maintain a constant pulse on emerging cultural insights and trends, bringing fresh inspiration into the Buzz organization.

Minimum Qualifications

15+ years of experience in cultural marketing, design, art, fashion, creative industries, communications, talent relations, partnerships or integrated brand strategy within a leading global organization, cultural institution, agency or creative business.

Preferred Qualifications

Exceptional global cultural network. Deep, trusted relationships across contemporary design, architecture, art, fashion, photography and adjacent creative communities — including designers, artists, photographers, architects, creative directors, curators, gallerists, editors, collectors, institutions and emerging talent.
Deep design and cultural fluency. Sophisticated understanding of the people, institutions, movements, fairs, exhibitions, publications and conversations shaping contemporary creative culture globally.
Exceptional taste and brand stewardship. Highly developed creative judgment and a strong point of view on design, aesthetics, storytelling and cultural relevance, with the ability to protect Apple’s standards while continually introducing new thinking.
Strategic vision. Proven ability to translate cultural insight into long-term strategies, relationships and programs that build authentic relevance rather than transactional brand participation.
Relationship leadership. Demonstrated ability to establish credibility with world-class creative talent and their representation and develop relationships that deepen over time.
Global perspective. Experience developing strategies that can operate worldwide while recognizing the cultural nuance, creative communities and opportunities unique to individual markets.
Cross-functional leadership. Proven ability to influence and collaborate with senior partners across Communications, Product Marketing, Marcom, Retail, Events, Services and creative teams without direct authority.
Executive communication. Ability to articulate cultural strategy, opportunity and creative rationale clearly and persuasively to senior leadership.
Discretion and judgment. Significant experience managing highly sensitive relationships, talent and confidential information with exceptional integrity.
