Description

We’re looking for a Training Lead to join our Apple Finance team. You’ll be responsible for designing and delivering training tracks for Finance initiatives. Your goal is to create clear, meaningful, and long-lasting learning experiences. You will serve as the primary point of contact for Apple Finance training, ensuring deliverables meet the required standards. Additionally, you’ll collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure that learning solutions are timely, accurate, and impactful.

Responsibilities

Lead instructional design efforts across Finance projects, including system rollouts, process changes, and compliance mandates.
Serve as the training track lead on cross-functional project teams, representing the learning and development work stream.
Conduct training needs analyses by reviewing project documentation, technical specs, and stakeholder input to identify learning gaps.
Translate complex finance and technical content into clear, learner-centered training solutions
Design and develop multimodal learning deliverables.
Write measurable learning objectives and craft engaging course descriptions for deployment in the LMS.
Ensure all content maintains a consistent, professional voice optimized for adult learners.
Manage the end-to-end course lifecycle on the LMS, including build, quality review, and publishing.
Partner with subject matter experts, project managers, and Finance stakeholders to gather content and validate accuracy.
Facilitate reviews, manage feedback cycles, and drive deliverables to completion on schedule.
Proactively identify training triggers, including UX/UI changes, new workflows, and regulatory updates, within project documentation.

Minimum Qualifications

5+ years of instructional design experience.
2+ years in a training lead or senior designer capacity.
BS/BA in Instructional Design, Education, Communications, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.

Preferred Qualifications

Proficiency with enterprise LMS platforms, with hands-on experience publishing and managing course content end-to-end.
Experience in The Grove LMS administration and training coordination.
Demonstrated ability to develop diverse learning formats.
Strong command of Bloom's Taxonomy and adult learning principles, including ADDIE, SAM, or equivalent frameworks.
Strong visual design sensibility for creating polished, professional job aids and infographics.
Exceptional written communication skills with a proven ability to simplify complex, technical content for a non-technical audience.
Proven ability to manage multiple deliverables simultaneously in a fast-paced, project-driven environment.
Experience supporting Finance, Accounting, or Operations training programs.
Familiarity with finance systems, workflows, and compliance training requirements.
Experience with authoring and video tools such as Articulate Storyline, Articulate Rise, or Camtasia.

At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $140,700 and $211,400, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
