Senior Product Manager, Privacy Engineering
The Opportunity
Privacy is changing quickly. People are more aware of their privacy rights and want more control over their data, especially as AI has become part of our everyday work. Regulations are also evolving rapidly across many regions. These changes matter to Adobe as the company expands across consumer, professional, and enterprise markets worldwide. We are looking for a collaborative and innovative Lead Product Manager to guide the strategy and execution of our vision for experiential privacy. In this role, you will help manage privacy risks, identify new opportunities, and build transparent, user-centered solutions that support Adobe’s values and business goals.
This is a highly cross-functional role. You will need to think strategically, influence others, and work closely with teams across Adobe, including Creativity & Productivity, Customer Experience Orchestration, Adobe Unified Platform Engineering, Digital Employee Experience, and Legal. To succeed, you are comfortable with change, act with urgency, take ownership, and deliver results while partnering with multiple teams and managing competing priorities.
What You'll Do
- Understand needs around data protection and privacy compliance in our products, services and platforms.
- Translate customer, business, and legal needs into clear requirements and engage with engineering teams to deliver outstanding solutions users trust with their data.
- Help build features, capabilities, and tools composed to keep user and company data protected while offering transparency around how our company processes data.
- Collaborate with experience design teams driving the creation of mockups and review user interface designs to help ensure all privacy controls are implemented in accordance with privacy policies and requirements.
- Build, document and communicate key use cases as the basis for comprehensive, end-to-end features and user acceptance testing for privacy requirements and solutions.
- Build privacy success metrics/criteria and supervise performance
- Partner with legal to assist in the review of privacy impact assessments for different platforms, products, tools, and services.
- Prepare and deliver presentations for higher-level management including Directors, VPs and Senior Leaders with progress, risks and opportunities for privacy-focused capabilities and processes.
- Act as an advocate and evangelist for privacy and data protection, leading internal training and building awareness.
What is Needed to Succeed
- 5+ years of relevant product management experience in either commercial or well-defined internal-facing products.
- Understanding of technical environments, market dynamics and trends.
- Solid understanding and hands-on experience with AI technologies, models, tools, and applied agentic use cases.
- Solid understanding of data platforms (e.g., data lakes and data farms), privacy enhancement technologies, and various industry frameworks geared around data privacy (e.g., IAB TCF, Global Privacy Platform, etc.)
- Strong product management thinking with a dedication to nail the “What and Why” before jumping into solutioning.
- Proven track record in highly cross-functional projects, working with product and technical teams with multiple priorities.
- Business-savvy teammate who can think out of the box, with a keen ability for switching between tactical execution to critical thinking!
- Persistent appetite to learn quickly with a highly curious, problem-solving focused mind.
- Exceptional communication skills with a phenomenal sense of humor and dedication to integrity.
- Bachelor’s or advanced degree in a quantitative field, electrical engineering, computer science or equivalent
- Certified Information Privacy Technology credential is a plus.

Expected Pay Range:
Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several U.S. geographic markets, and we pay differently based on those defined markets. The U.S. pay range for this position is $125,800 -- $239,725 annually. Pay within this range varies by work location and may also depend on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Your recruiter can share more about the specific salary range for the job location during the hiring process.In California, the pay range for this position is $165,600 - $239,725
At Adobe, for sales roles starting salaries are expressed as total target compensation (TTC = base + commission), and short-term incentives are in the form of sales commission plans. Non-sales roles starting salaries are expressed as base salary and short-term incentives are in the form of the Annual Incentive Plan (AIP).
In addition, certain roles may be eligible for long-term incentives in the form of a new hire equity award.
