Summary:
In the role of Custom Software Engineering Lead, a typical day involves overseeing the technical direction and architectural design of custom software solutions. This includes guiding teams through the entire development lifecycle, from initial design concepts to final delivery. The role requires ensuring that development standards are maintained, and that the software solutions are scalable, performant, and aligned with the broader business goals. Collaboration with various stakeholders to align technical efforts with organizational objectives is a key aspect of the daily routine, along with continuous monitoring of project progress and quality assurance.

Roles & Responsibilities:
- Expected to be an SME, collaborate and manage the team to perform.
- Responsible for team decisions.
- Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions.
- Provide solutions to problems for their immediate team and across multiple teams.
- Lead the establishment and enforcement of development standards to ensure high-quality deliverables.
- Facilitate effective communication and coordination among cross-functional teams to drive project success.
- Mentor and support junior team members to foster professional growth and skill development.
- Continuously evaluate and improve software architecture to meet evolving business needs and technological advancements.

Professional & Technical Skills:
- Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in SAP SCM APO Advanced Planning & Optimization.
- Strong expertise in software architecture design and implementation within custom software environments.
- Experience in leading software development teams and managing technical project delivery.
- Ability to ensure code quality, scalability, and performance in complex software solutions.
- Skilled in collaborating with cross-functional teams to align technical strategies with business objectives.
- Competence in troubleshooting and resolving technical challenges across multiple teams.

Additional Information:
- The candidate should have minimum 5 years of experience in SAP SCM APO Advanced Planning & Optimization.
- This position is based at our HDC4 - SEZ location.
- A 15 years full time education is required.
