Amazon's datacenter network is expanding in Texas, and we need a Senior Manager, Network Deployment to lead the cabling teams that make it happen. In this role, you will own the strategy and execution for deploying physical network cabling infrastructure across multiple datacenter sites in the region. You will build and grow an organization of managers and technicians, establish repeatable deployment processes, and bring network connectivity online for AWS customers. You will partner with networking, planning, construction, and operations teams to keep deployments on track as the region's footprint grows. If you have a track record of building teams and delivering infrastructure at pace, we want to talk.

Key job responsibilities
- Define and execute a multi-year strategic roadmap for your organization, aligning team priorities with broader business objectives while managing complex deployment challenges across a growing regional footprint.
- Drive operational excellence by establishing mechanisms to evaluate deployment performance, identify risks proactively, and implement scalable process improvements that reduce cycle time and increase delivery predictability.
- Partner with stakeholders across networking, planning, construction, and operations teams to resolve deployment blockers, align on project timelines, and communicate status clearly to leadership and cross-functional partners.
- Allocate resources across competing project demands, making trade-offs between near-term delivery and long-term capacity goals.
- Lead, mentor, and grow a team of managers and technicians by establishing scalable onboarding processes, coaching leaders on career development, and building succession plans that ensure long-term organizational health.

About the team
We are the team that physically connects Amazon's network. Our technicians and managers work on the datacenter floor installing and validating cabling for new and expansion capacity across the region. We are growing in Texas and investing in the leadership and processes needed to keep pace.

Basic Qualifications

- 10+ years of relevant management experience in datacenter operations, facility engineering operations, information technology critical environment facilities, advanced high volume manufacturing, datacenter build-outs and scaling, or similar experience
- Experience leading large teams, with demonstrable ability to hire, develop, and manage high-performing technical teams

Preferred Qualifications

- Experience delivering complex projects with prior ownership of the operation of a mission-critical team and/or product
