Summary:
As a Custom Software Engineer, you will engage in the development of custom software solutions that are designed to meet specific business needs. Your typical day will involve collaborating with cross-functional teams to design, code, and enhance various components across systems or applications. You will utilize modern frameworks and agile practices to ensure the delivery of scalable and high-performing solutions, while also addressing any challenges that arise during the development process. Your role will require a proactive approach to problem-solving and a commitment to continuous improvement in software development practices.
Roles and Resposbilities Must have S/4 HANA Retail experience in doing S/4 HANA implementation , able to do configuration, write functional design, able to Test the solution for SAP IS Retail.
Must have experience in Pricing Cost Price and Retail Price and Promotions & Bonus Buys, Retail master data - Article master, site/business partners, assortment and listing, article hierarchy, merchandise category and merchandise category hierarchy. Should be aware of Markdown Planning, Price Family etc.
Should know SAP Vistex - SAP Data Maintenance Pricing.
Should have experience in Conditions Contracts
Solution Design , Functional design and develop SAP IS Retail solutions to meet client needs, ensuring integration with other SAP modules and external systems, ensure able to do Unit testing, SIT and support UAT and cutover activities.7
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Expected to perform independently and become an SME.
- Required active participation/contribution in team discussions.
- Contribute in providing solutions to work related problems.
- Collaborate with team members to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
- Participate in code reviews to ensure adherence to best practices and quality standards.

Professional & Technical Skills:
- Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in SAP for Retail.
- Strong understanding of software development life cycle methodologies.
- Experience with modern programming languages and frameworks.
- Ability to troubleshoot and resolve software issues efficiently.
- Familiarity with agile development practices and tools.
- SAP CAR
- Proficiency in SAP S/4 HANA for Retail modules and related SAP technologies.
- Translate business requirements into technical solutions.
- Problem-Solving: Ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues related to SAP IS Retail configurations and processes.
- Minimum of 6-8 years of experience in SAP S/4 HANA for Retail implementation.
- 4- 6 years of experience as an SAP S/4 HANA Retail in are of Pricing and Promotions and also in CAR Consultant with at least one end-to-end SAP implementation project.

Must have : designed and configuration Pricing - Cost Price and Retail Price and also worked on Promotions.
Additional Information:
- The candidate should have minimum 3 years of experience in SAP for Retail.
- This position is based at our Bengaluru office.
- A 15 years full time education is required.
- Designing and configuring SAP CAR in areas of CAR-POSDTA, Multichannel etc
- Should be well-versed with SAP CAR/ POS DTA configurations on HANA (POS Inbound and Outbound interface) and aware of standard tasks and features.
- Worked on UDF/DDF features in CAR
- Work closely with a team of developers and play a significant role in delivering the assigned custom interfaces and objects.
- Thorough understanding of the PIPE Inbound format and should be able to do a detailed mapping of the Tlog to the PIPE format
- Experience configuring POSDTA module and working with Badi s available
- Experience in POS integration to ECC and SD-FI integration is a must
