Position Summary
Lead the Financial Accounting team within the Manila GBS Record to Report (RtR) organization, with accountability for the financial accuracy and timely reporting of multiple APAC legal entities. The role requires deep financial accounting expertise, strong people leadership, and effective business partnering across Finance and other functions.
The successful candidate will operate confidently in a large, complex multinational environment, set clear priorities, and ensure the team consistently delivers accurate and timely results. As a key contact for internal customers, the role is expected to communicate effectively at senior levels and build strong stakeholder relationships.
Key Responsibilities
• Lead the Financial Accounting team within the Manila GBS RtR organization.
• Oversee the timeliness and accuracy of US GAAP financial reporting.
• Mentor, coach, and develop finance professionals, fostering a high-performance and customer-first culture.
• Act as a key contact for business customers and partner closely with other GBS departments and functions on projects and initiatives, including legal entity rationalization and productivity optimization.
• Chair monthly business reviews with customers and provide clear updates on performance, priorities, and issues.
• Perform balance sheet deep dives and present findings and outcomes to relevant stakeholders.
• Ensure required financial compliance and SOX control measures are executed consistently and without exception.
• Drive operational excellence across the team and its core accounting activities.
• Lead and promote a continuous improvement culture, taking accountability for projects that contribute to annual productivity targets.
