The Role
• The role is responsible for the innovation, execution, implementation and the optimization of digital marketing using mobile devices and other emerging technology
• Assist the business teams in developing deep consumer insights by applying demographic, attitudinal & behavioral segmentation data to define a multi-channel targeting approach to winning with key segments; this includes POV’s and best practices related to media channel and communications trends tied to key segments as defined by the region and individual markets.
• Develop and measure social media content and manage our social publishing calendar.
• Leverage Mastercard’s suite of sponsorship assets to drive preference and share with customers and cardholders. Create new assets relevant for domestic market.
• Develop B2B2C best practices and deliver campaigns with Issuers leveraging Mastercard’s suite of marketing assets.
All About You
• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Communications or related field; MBA or equivalent is a plus.
• 12+ years of progressive consumer marketing experience, including leading integrated brand, digital and media programs for large, matrixed organizations (payments, fintech, FMCG or similar).
• Proven leadership experience managing high-performing teams and agencies—setting strategy, coaching talent, and driving accountability to outcomes.
• Strong strategic planning capability with end-to-end campaign leadership: insight-led brief development, creative/media planning, execution, optimization, and post-campaign measurement.
• Deep expertise in digital and performance marketing (paid social, search, programmatic, CRM) and social/content strategies—able to translate platform trends into scalable consumer programs.
• Experience developing issuer/co-brand and partner marketing programs (B2B2C), aligning stakeholders and delivering co-funded campaigns at scale.
• Strong media and communications expertise, including briefing and managing media agencies, optimizing channel mix, and ensuring brand consistency across touchpoints.
• Commercial acumen and financial discipline—able to manage budgets, build business cases, and report impact against agreed KPIs with senior stakeholders.
• Comfort operating in regulated environments; able to partner with Legal, Compliance and Risk to deliver marketing that meets local and regional requirements.
• Excellent executive communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence across functions and present clearly to leadership.
