Summary:
As a Database Administrator, a typical day involves designing, implementing, and maintaining robust database systems to support organizational needs. This role includes installing database management systems and developing procedures to ensure smooth daily operations. The position requires continuous monitoring and troubleshooting to resolve any issues promptly, ensuring data integrity and availability. Collaboration with various teams to optimize database performance and support business processes is also a key part of the daily routine.

Roles & Responsibilities:
- Expected to perform independently and become an SME.
- Required active participation/contribution in team discussions.
- Contribute in providing solutions to work related problems.
- Monitor database performance and implement necessary changes to improve efficiency.
- Ensure data security and compliance with organizational policies.
- Assist junior team members in understanding database concepts and troubleshooting techniques.
- Document database configurations, procedures, and changes to maintain clear records.

Professional & Technical Skills:
- Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Oracle Database Administration (DBA).
- Experience in database backup and recovery techniques to safeguard data.
- Knowledge of database security best practices and user access management.
- Ability to optimize database performance through tuning and resource management.
- Familiarity with database monitoring tools and automation of routine tasks.
- Strong problem-solving skills related to database issues and system failures.

Additional Information:
- The candidate should have minimum 2 years of experience in Oracle Database Administration (DBA).
- This position is based at our HDC4 - SEZ location.
- A 15 years full time education is required.
