Summary:
As an Application Support Engineer, a typical day involves acting as a software detective by proactively monitoring and diagnosing issues across various critical business systems. This role requires a dynamic approach to identifying problems, analyzing system behaviors, and ensuring smooth operation of multiple interconnected components. The engineer collaborates with different teams to maintain system stability and swiftly resolve any disruptions that may impact business processes, thereby supporting continuous and efficient service delivery.

Roles & Responsibilities:
- Expected to be an SME, collaborate and manage the team to perform.
- Responsible for team decisions.
- Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions.
- Provide solutions to problems for their immediate team and across multiple teams.
- Lead efforts to improve system reliability and performance through proactive issue identification and resolution.
- Facilitate knowledge sharing and mentoring within the team to enhance overall technical capabilities.
- Coordinate with stakeholders to prioritize and address critical incidents effectively.

Professional & Technical Skills:
- Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in PySpark.
- Experience in developing and optimizing large-scale data processing workflows using PySpark.
- Strong understanding of distributed computing concepts and big data ecosystems.
- Ability to troubleshoot complex issues in data pipelines and business-critical applications.
- Familiarity with performance tuning and resource management in Spark environments.
- Skilled in collaborating with cross-functional teams to implement scalable and maintainable solutions.

Additional Information:
- The candidate should have minimum 8 years of experience in PySpark.
- This position is based at our BDC7A - SEZ office.
- A 15 years full time education is required.
