Summary:
In the role of Custom Software Engineering Lead, a typical day involves steering the technical vision and architectural framework for bespoke software projects. This position requires guiding teams through the entire lifecycle of software design and implementation, ensuring that development practices meet established standards. The role demands continuous oversight of project progress, fostering collaboration among team members, and aligning technical efforts with overarching business goals to deliver scalable and high-performing solutions.

Roles & Responsibilities:
- Expected to be an SME, collaborate and manage the team to perform.
- Responsible for team decisions.
- Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions.
- Expected to provide solutions to problems that apply across multiple teams.
- Lead the establishment and enforcement of development standards to maintain code quality and system performance.
- Facilitate effective communication and coordination between cross-functional teams to ensure seamless project delivery.
- Mentor junior team members to support their professional growth and enhance team capabilities.

Professional & Technical Skills:
- Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in PostgreSQL.
- Good To Have Skills: Data Modeling Techniques and Methodologies, Oracle Applications DBA, Oracle Database Architecture.
- Strong expertise in database design, optimization, and performance tuning within PostgreSQL environments.
- Experience in managing and maintaining complex database systems to support scalable software applications.
- Ability to analyze and resolve technical challenges related to database architecture and integration.
- Familiarity with best practices in data security, backup, and recovery strategies.

Additional Information:
- The candidate should have minimum 7 years of experience in PostgreSQL.
- This position is based at our DDC5E - SEZ location.
- A 15 years full time education is required.
