In the role of Custom Software Engineering Lead, a typical day involves overseeing the technical direction and architectural design of bespoke software solutions. This position requires guiding teams through the entire development lifecycle, from initial design concepts to final delivery. The role emphasizes establishing and maintaining development standards, ensuring that the software produced is scalable, performs efficiently, and aligns closely with the strategic goals of the business. Collaboration and leadership are central, as the lead coordinates efforts to meet project milestones and uphold quality benchmarks.

- Expected to be an SME, collaborate and manage the team to perform.
- Responsible for team decisions.
- Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions.
- Provide solutions to problems for their immediate team and across multiple teams.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance development processes and team productivity.
- Mentor and support junior team members to foster professional growth and skill development.

Professional & Technical Skills:
- Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in SAP ABAP Development for HANA.
- Strong knowledge of software architecture principles and best practices for custom development.
- Experience in setting and enforcing coding standards to ensure high-quality deliverables.
- Ability to optimize software performance and scalability within complex enterprise environments.
- Skilled in leading cross-functional teams and managing collaborative development efforts.
- Competence in troubleshooting and resolving technical challenges in software projects.

Additional Information:
- The candidate should have minimum 5 years of experience in SAP ABAP Development for HANA.
- This position is based at our HDC4 - SEZ location.
- A 15 years full time education is required.
