Summary:
As a Custom Software Engineer, you will design, build, and configure applications to meet business process and application requirements. A typical day involves collaborating with various teams to understand their needs, developing innovative solutions, and ensuring that applications are aligned with business objectives. You will also engage in problem-solving activities and provide guidance to team members, fostering a collaborative environment that encourages creativity and efficiency.

Prerequisite for RDE
- Translate business processes into AI-driven workflows, integrating Agentic AI patterns and SAP s AI services to deliver scalable, intelligent, and automation-ready applications.
- Own end-to-end implementation, from data and model integration through solution architecture, development, testing, and deployment within SAP landscapes and customer environments.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with product, engineering, data, and customer teams to drive AI adoption, optimize models in production, and continuously enhance solution quality and impact.
- Experience with Transforming processes with AI & infusing Agentic AI innovations in SAP space.
- Strategic thinking, client-focused articulation & effective demo/communication experience.

Roles & Responsibilities:
- Expected to be a Subject Matter Expert with deep knowledge and experience.
- Should have influencing and advisory skills.
- Responsible for team decisions.
- Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions.
- Expected to provide solutions to problems that apply across multiple teams.
- Facilitate workshops and discussions to gather requirements and feedback from stakeholders.
- Mentor junior professionals and assist them in their development and understanding of the project.

Professional & Technical Skills:
- Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in SAP Business Data Cloud BDC.
- Strong understanding of application design principles and methodologies.
- Experience with integration techniques and data management strategies.
- Ability to analyze business requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
- Familiarity with agile development practices and project management tools.

Additional Information:
- The candidate should have minimum 15 years of experience in SAP Business Data Cloud BDC.
- This position is based at our Mumbai office.
- A 15 years full time education is required.
