About the role
Mission:
The Product Marketing Manager will lead end-to-end product lifecycle management for Penhaligon’s in Korea. This role plays a key part in driving product strategy, managing new launches, analysing market and sales data, and ensuring product performance through close cross-functional collaboration. The position supports both strategic planning and hands-on execution to maximize product potential and drive business growth.
What you'll do
Key Responsibilities:
Product Strategy & Lifecycle Management
• Develop and manage the local product strategy aligned with global guidelines and market needs.
• Oversee full product lifecycle: launch, growth, maturity, and discontinuation.
• Identify and lead local product initiatives to enhance portfolio relevance.
• Identify growth opportunities within the product portfolio and lead strategic planning for category
development.
• Collaborate with global brand teams to adapt global strategies into locally relevant product actions.
• Lead the analysis of portfolio performance and make strategic recommendations for assortment
optimization, pricing strategy, and hero product development.
• Develop locally relevant product narratives and key messages in alignment with brand positioning to
support launches and retail storytelling.
Forecasting & Inventory Optimization
• Analyze sales and sell-out data to lead accurate demand forecasts.
• Monitor stock levels and propose adjustments to avoid overstock or stockouts.
• Identify slow movers and propose proactive actions to improve performance.
Market & Competitor Analysis
• Track and report on category trends, competitor launches, and consumer preferences.
• Provide insights to support pricing strategy, positioning, and product improvements.
• Prepare regular product performance reports and recommendations.
Cross-functional Collaboration
• Collaborate closely with Marketing, Sales, Supply Chain, Retail, and Training teams
• Ensure timely and effective execution of new product launches and product updates
• Lead internal briefings and knowledge sharing on product assortment and strategies
Requirements
Qualification:
8+ years of experience in beauty, cosmetics, or luxury industry in product marketing or product management
Solid understanding of product lifecycle management and demand forecasting
Strong analytical skills and business acumen
Experience with data tools and Excel
Excellent communication and collaboration skills across teams
Fluent in Korean and proficient in English
