About the role
The Trade-In Advisor is the operational backbone of Tesla Korea's Used Car business. In this role, you will manage the end-to-end lifecycle of vehicle intake—from customer trade-in requests to sourcing inventory from the public market. You will collaborate closely with Sales, Delivery, and Service teams to drive profitability, ensure seamless vehicle logistics, and deliver a best-in-class experience for customers transitioning to their new Tesla.
What you'll do
• Intake & Valuation: Manage the complete trade-in workflow for both Tesla and non-Tesla vehicles. Accurately assess vehicle condition and market value to maximize profitability and inventory velocity.
• Operational Logistics: Oversee the physical movement of inventory, including the relocation of sellable cars and coordination with logistics partners for vehicle exchanges.
• Process Optimization: Analyze trade-in performance data to identify bottlenecks. Innovate current workflows to reduce turnaround time and increase stockturn efficiency.
• Vendor & Financial Management: Manage relationships with external purchase partners (vendors) for non-Tesla dispositions and oversee payment/settlement procedures.
• Compliance & Documentation: Handle complex vehicle registration and deregistration processes, ensuring full compliance with Korean government regulations and zero errors in transfer of ownership.
• Customer Communication: Serve as the primary point of contact for trade-in inquiries, providing transparent quotations and guidance via email, phone, and in-person interactions.
