Job Description

Job Description

This initial contract is six months, with the possibility of a further six-month extension and potential consideration for a permanent role in the future, subject to performance and business needs.

At LinkedIn, our approach to flexible work is centred on trust and optimised for culture, connection, clarity and the evolving needs of our business. The work location of this role is hybrid, meaning it will be performed both from home and from a LinkedIn office on select days, as determined by the business needs of the team.

We are looking for a proactive and commercially curious Regional Account Specialist to help unlock growth across strategic client accounts. Working closely with Global Client Executives (GCEs) and Regional Account Managers (RAMs), you will create new conversations in areas of existing accounts that have not yet been fully explored.

This hands-on role combines prospecting, account support, customer education and commercial execution. You will identify new stakeholders and use cases, provide continuity when a GCE or RAM is on leave, and lead compelling presentations and training that show clients why Sales Navigator matters and how it can help their teams succeed.

This is an exciting opportunity for a sales or account-management professional with approximately three to five years of experience who wants to build enterprise selling skills, work with strategic customers and make a visible impact at LinkedIn.

Why this role is exciting

You will work alongside Global Client Executives and Regional Account Managers, gain hands-on exposure to strategic account work and see a direct connection between your activity and client growth. If you enjoy opening doors, presenting ideas, helping customers learn and turning early interest into meaningful opportunities, this role offers a strong platform to build your career at LinkedIn.

Responsibilities

Open new opportunities within existing accounts

  • Partner with the GCEs and RAMs for your named accounts to translate account goals and global strategies into focused regional actions

  • Support the execution of account and territory plans by mapping key decision-makers, product utilization and new revenue opportunities

  • Prospect systematically into named accounts to uncover new teams, decision-makers and use cases, secure initial meetings and provide clear weekly progress updates

  • Conduct initial discovery and needs analysis with decision-makers and end users, qualifying opportunities and equipping GCEs and RAMs for subsequent growth conversations

  • Build tailored value stories, presentations and demonstrations based on each customer's priorities, with guidance from the relevant GCE or RAM

  • Proactively identify off-cycle growth opportunities, including new solutions, add-ons and renewals

Build awareness and demand through client education

  • Deliver engaging “Why Sales Navigator” presentations to client with little or no prior awareness of the solution, clearly connecting its value to their business priorities.

  • Deliver practical Sales Navigator training and enablement that increases awareness, confidence, adoption and effective product utilisation

  • Use presentations, demonstrations and training to plant the seeds for future growth by surfacing new use cases, building internal champions and creating early demand across the client organization

Provide seamless account coverage

  • Provide temporary account coverage when GCEs or RAMs are on leave, maintaining client responsiveness, continuity and follow-through

  • Handle customer communications and agreed account activities with an open, collaborative and customer-focused approach

  • Maintain regular communication with GCEs and RAMs, keeping them informed of new opportunities, client commitments, risks and next steps

  • Plan and execute with discipline

  • Execute tailored, value-based engagement strategies that strengthen partnerships with strategically important customers

  • Use LinkedIn CRM every day to record activities, maintain accurate opportunity tracking and provide clear visibility to the wider account team

What success looks like

  • A consistent flow of qualified meetings and opportunities from parts of existing accounts that were previously under-prospected.

  • Broader awareness and understanding of Sales Navigator among client stakeholders who may not have previously known or used the solution.

  • New use cases, internal champions and longer-term growth opportunities created through presentations, demonstrations and training.

  • Smooth client coverage and strong account-team confidence when a GCE or RAM is away.
