Who are we looking for?

The Officer is responsible for executing Shareholder Services and Client Trading activities across APAC while ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and compliance with operational procedures and controls. The role serves as a subject matter expert within the team and collaborates closely with colleagues across APAC, North America, and EMEA to support business growth, client service excellence, and operational effectiveness.

What you will be responsible for

As Shareholder Services, Officer, your responsibility will be:

Operational Processing

  • Process shareholder activity and client trading transactions within established deadlines and service standards.

  • Ensure all transactions are completed accurately and in accordance with documented procedures and controls.

  • Providing Portfolio Management with accurate and timely information on daily subscription/redemption activity, taking responsibility for data integrity.

  • Monitor transaction flows, leading the investigation and resolution of exceptions, discrepancies, and breaks related to client flows

  • Maintain high standards of productivity, quality, and client service.

  • Support APAC business activities across multiple markets and products.

  • Support automation, digitization, and AI-enabled initiatives that improve operational efficiency and control effectiveness.

Subject Matter Expertise

  • Serve as a subject matter expert for designated processes and operational activities.

  • Provide guidance and support to junior team members.

  • Act as an escalation point for operational issues and complex transactions.

  • Build and maintain strong knowledge of SHS products, policies, procedures, and systems.

Risk Excellence

  • Demonstrate sound judgment in identifying and escalating operational risks and issues.

  • Ensure compliance with all policies, controls, and regulatory requirements.

  • Support error investigations, root cause analysis, and remediation activities.

  • Proactively identify opportunities to strengthen controls and reduce risk.

Continuous Improvement & Change

  • Participate in process improvement, transformation, and automation initiatives.

  • Support system testing, UAT activities, and implementation of new processes or enhancements.

  • Identify opportunities to increase efficiency, improve controls, and eliminate manual activities.

  • Contribute ideas that enhance the operating environment and client experience.

Knowledge Management & Team Support

  • Maintain and update procedures and operating documentation.

  • Participate in cross-training initiatives to improve team flexibility and resiliency.

  • Share knowledge and best practices across APAC and global teams.

  • Support business continuity and operational resilience objectives.

Global Collaboration

  • Collaborate with colleagues across APAC, North America, and EMEA to ensure consistent service delivery.
