Key Responsibilities
The Fiduciary Product Management and Governance Officer will be tasked with a range of critical control and product management functions, ensuring a robust governance structure is in place for the Fiduciario business. The core responsibilities include:
- Governance and Committee Oversight:
- Act as the primary coordinator for the New Deal Review Committee, ensuring all new business is onboarded in a controlled and compliant manner covering:
- Checker of the legal trust contracts and client instructions to be signed by trust delegates.
- Checker of the integration of client profile documentation to activate the new deal in the fiduciary systems. Work as a liaison with sales, operations and trust executive team to implement new business in the fiduciary systems following onboarding procedure. Assuring integrity of information.
- Cover requested AML validations and screening.
- Set up approved new business and amendments.
- Schedule DRC sessions and take minutes.
- Manage and facilitate the Fiduciary Forum to ensure it serves as an effective governance and oversight body.
- Control and Information Management:
- Serve as the central point for consolidating, analyzing, and delivering all information pertaining to Fiduciary controls and governance for management of the Product and regulatory/governance reporting.
- Lead requested Citi and third-party investment opening account.
- Work together with the commission and collections areas to validate, update and document the management of collection and commissions executed by trust executives.
- Product Management and Monitoring:
- Oversee all Product Management duties, including the maintenance and periodic review of the Product Approval Program (PAP).
- Continuously monitor the product's performance against its established Key Risk Indicators (KRIs) and metrics.
- Policy and Procedure Development:
- Lead the creation and implementation of specific operational procedures for the Individuals Segment.
- Own and maintain the Fiduciary Manual, ensuring it remains current with all policies and regulations.
- Fiduciary Head Delegate –
- Represent the Fiduciary Head in Governance/ Committee / Regulatory meetings
- Represent the Fiduciary Head in Country / Business projects impacting the product .
- Partner with Wealth Business Execution, In Business risk and Control Teams in all Fiduciary control and governance matters.
- Responsible for CAPs Remediations coordination assigned to Individuals Segment to ensure adherence to Citi policies and Local Regulation.
- Lead trust individual’s portfolio deliverables for internal and regulatory audits.
- Lead Tax Certificate Proyect.
Qualifications:
- 10+ years of experience
- Fiduciary or other compliance or financial services related experience
- Extensive years of Control, Risk & Compliance (Citi Policies & standards).
- Thorough knowledge of Regulatory Framework
Education:
- Bachelor’s/University degree, Master’s degree preferred
- Advance English
