Job Description

Who we are looking for

We are looking for a Securities Agency Employee reporting to the section head of Securities Agency

What you will be responsible for

As a Securities Agency Employee in the Securities Services department, you will:

  • Ensure the proper execution of the tasks dedicated to the function, in accordance with the policies and procedures in place

  • Replace an absent Staff Member within the Section

  • Prepare, execute and follow up all transactions related to the Fiscal Agency, Issuing and Paying function, Calculation Agency, Common Depository function, Conversion Agent function, Listing Agency function and Tax Agency function of the Bank

  • Maintain the documentation of all issues up to date and important documents in the vault

  • Keep the Global Notes in the vault on behalf of ICSD

  • Pay invoices to counterparties and booking, in due time

  • Issue and send invoices to all issuers and sub-custodians and booking, in due time

  • Issue SWIFT, Html, Pdf and faxes to all counterparties, in due time

  • Initiate and follow up investigation on behalf of the clients

  • Solve any mismatching with the concerned counterparty

  • Reconcile the monthly securities positions

  • Maintain good relationship with Issuers, ICSD’s, Dealers, Sub-custodians and Agents, involved in the Securities Agency business

  • Validate the update of the securities database

  • Ensure timeliness of client service in accordance with agreed deadlines

  • Ensure correct completion of specific services as per contractual agreement

  • Update of database of Clients contacts

  • Monitoring and issuing of Tax certificates in relation to the Common Depository function of the bank

  • Maintain highest possible level of client service

  • Complete daily, monthly and annual control checklists

  • Ensure compliance with accounting policies, departmental procedures and legislation

  • Accomplish various tasks in a timely and qualitative manner

  • Provide administrative support and complete all requested control checklists

  • Make proof of sense and sound judgment towards risk awareness

  • Inform the Section Head of all risks of error and actual errors as soon as detected and evaluate their impact
